This may seem disloyal for a major S&W fan but I have both Ruger MKII & Browning Buckmark but after hearing of the barrel screw issues w/ the Victory have zero interest in owning one. The Ruger & Browning are very accurate & there's no need to remove the barrel to clean them.

I'm not sure that's true. The Ruger Mark IV has 8 models currently in production. The Browning Buck Mark has 38. Revision: I went back to Ruger's website and apparently didn't drill down far enough the first time. They have many more iterations of each model.
